Pulau Ubin

...
Hey folks, how your weekend passed?

For us, hanging out with each other is something that we love to do, especially during weekend. It just releases stress accummulated through the week. Not just about meeting each other, we love to spend time together for the outreach trips.

Our first outreach event was held as a cycling session, in Pulau Ubin. Cycling back and forth within just a not-so-long distance in the island was just a tiny little rabbit in our thought for a moment. We were brave, for having riden the bikes through the long-and-winding-road from East Coast to Changi Village previously (that's Kok Heng's word). But this time it really was tough, beyond our expectation, though we had sufficient stamina.

Funnily, we had a chance to observe lots of accidents without warning (none of them was serious, of course), without even thinking that it would happen in such ways. Our group dealed with some of the "more serious ones", such like chain going out of gears (2 times), cellphone dropped (but picked up at once), one of the shoes broken (temporarily settled by using rubber-band coiling around)... After passing by one part of rocky sine-waved slope, the rest of us drained our strength. But we found it fun. Facing the narrow curves and steep slopes that some of us has never seen before, was exciting indeed.

Thanks Kok Heng and gf for joining us.

Hope to update more events in the coming time. We enjoyed it and wish you would, too.

God bless!
